GA) Kimberly Page has quit WCW due to creative differences.
Kim walked out shortly after Nitro and did not appear on Thunder.
Full details of the reasons behind this latest defection in WCW,
are not official, but it is interesting to note that Lex Luger
and Elizabeth have registered creative differences with Russo
also, and are now rumored to be on their way out of WCW. While
these facts do suggest that Russo is slipping out of favor with
some of the WCW talent, it does make one wonder if there are forces
working against him behind his back, not an unusual practice in
WCW. Some insiders speculate that Kim became upset over the shallow
and cartoonish character she was asked to portray on TV and she
would have preferred a more realistic, assertive role, with much
more solid motivations behind the TV split between her and her
husband, DDP, who tried to offset the nonsensical character given
to Kim with very realistic responses. DDP states "See, me
and Kim had in mind a much more romantic storyline, where I lose
her because of my dedication to my work, and then win her back
by proving my love for her, but Russo would have none of that,
all he was interested in was getting Kim in cat fights and as
naked as possible on TV. I think that's fine, but there are better
ways to get to that without getting stupid." Other insiders
believe that the vibrator on a pole stipulation suggested by Russo
for the Kim vs Miss Hancock upcoming match may have been the final
